A bright pink, penis-inspired “boner lamp” with a mock foreskin exists, because why not.

Monsby, an anonymous designer based in London, unveiled his phallic-shaped lamp in a Twitter video.

Though it doesn’t have a traditional on-off switch, the lamp isn’t hard to turn on. All you do is rub the stretchy sheath wrapped around it.

The “San Francisco Boner In Pink” wall LED lamp is made of fabric, biodegradable plastics, wood and aluminium.

But the 10-inch lamp is in short supply – there are just 50 being sold online. The price tag is also pretty big, tallying at $500 or $1,000 if you’d prefer it come in a wooden gift box.

“Wall Lamp inspired by medieval torch, vibe of San Francisco and erect penis, which gives light as a symbol of new life,” the lamp’s description reads.

“Harmony, ladies and gentlemen. Limited edition in an amazing wooden box with a certificate of authenticity.”

While it’s easy to assume that a minimal “boner lamp” would rub people up the wrong way, as soon as Twitter users got an eyeful, they were clamouring to get their hands on it.

The pink lamp isn’t the only model in the “Boner Lamp” series by Monsby.

As well as white and green models, there’s also a peach version that has a classy crystal ring around it, and another lined with spiky studs in the spirit of London.

Monsby released a tableside model in 2021 called the “Love in Light Lamp“, which is now half-price at $2,500 with the wooden gift box.

“I made this black one last year,” he tweeted on 14 August. “Now it’s a year of a wall lamp version.”

Speaking about the table lamp, Monsby told DesignBoom: “I had been working on this lamp for about a year.

“It had different names during that period: phallamp, lampenis etc. After all, the main idea of this lamp is not in the similarity with the penis, although, of course, it is funny.

“It is about love, light and life. the most meaningful and optimistic lamp ever.”
