“Southern Charm” star Olivia Flowers tells Page Six that fans told her to “run” from Austen Kroll after Kroll had controversial appearances on “Summer House” and “Winter House.”
“After ‘Winter House’ and ‘Summer House,’ people were like, ‘oh, really? Run!’” Flowers, 30, tells us of Kroll. “But it was all people that didn’t know him.
“No one in his close knit group said anything like that to me. It was more just the strangers watching the shows, like coming in and telling me to be careful, which I appreciate.”
Kroll, 35, found himself facing major backlash from fans after he hooked up with “Summer House” co-stars Lindsay Hubbard and Ciara Miller in the same weekend. Luckily for him, that doesn’t bother Flowers.
“I really took on the point that that was before me. It was prior to me. I know it’s kind of hard, because stuff doesn’t necessarily show in real time. So there was some overlap thing,” Flowers says, seemingly referring to Miller.
The “Southern Charm” newbie adds that she “didn’t want to make any kind of judgment calls” based off his past actions that “didn’t have anything to do with me.”
Flowers says that she and Kroll are “in a really good place,” but teases fans will have to watch the season to see if they ever make things official. The duo were caught holding hands during a vineyard getaway in Napa Valley, Calif. in May.
In a preview for Thursday’s episode, Paige DeSorbo, who stars on “Summer House” with Miller, 26, and is dating Kroll’s co-star Craig Conover, tells Kroll that Miller is in Charleston.
“I know that they had some unfinished business at that point,” Flowers teases. “It sounds like they had a conversation that needed to be had, and I think when that was reached it was still early on in the stage with Austen and I. … I didn’t feel like I had the grounds to be that upset by it.”
While it’s unclear what Miller and Kroll talked about, Miller was exposed for having a secret hookup with Kroll after the “Summer House” blow up and filming wrapped.
“Never f–king again,” Miller said during the “Summer House” reunion aired in May.
