Kanye West appeared at Rolling Loud Miami on Friday night (July 22), despite having canceled his headlining performance less than a week before it was supposed to happen. He joined Lil Durk for their recent Cardi B collaboration “Hot Shit” and performed “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1.” Watch it below.

Kid Cudi had stepped in to fill West’s spot at Rolling Loud, but he cut his set short after four songs due to audience members throwing debris at him. After a piece of trash appeared to hit him in the face, he told the crowd, “If I see one more fucking thing on this fucking stage, I’m leaving. Don’t fuck with me.” Someone threw another item at Cudi just a few seconds later, prompting him to drop his mic and walk offstage. Pitchfork has contacted representatives for Kid Cudi and West for comment. Rolling Loud shared a statement via social media on Saturday afternoon:

Rolling Loud is a family. Our fans, the artists, and everyone involved need to look out for each other. Share the love and be respectful to everyone. We love you, Cudi. Please take care of each other and let’s have an amazing day 2!

Tensions between West and Cudi—former friends and collaborators—have remained high since their public falling-out in February. Cudi, who had appeared on West’s “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1,” said that his contributions to the Pusha T track “Rock N Roll” would be his last time working with West.
