Lala Kent Says She’s Spending A “Very High” Amount On Attorneys Fees During Custody Battle With Randall Emmett

Since their tumultuous breakup, Lala Kent has made it clear that she wants nothing to do with ex-fiance Randall Emmett. The two share a daughter together, Ocean Kent Emmett, who recently turned one. So whether Lala likes it to not, Randall is going to remain in her life in some capacity. Lala is currently suing for full custody and she’s now revealing just how much it’s draining her bank account.

As reported by Reality Blurb, the Vanderpump Rules star recently appeared on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live show to discuss. She talked about her extensive attorneys fees, along with child support. Host Jeff Lewis asked how much she is spending on legal fees. Lala replied, “It’s high. It’s very high.” Jeff pressed, was she was talking “$200, $300, $400, or more?” To which Lala responded, “more.” She added,“It’s a lot. But you can’t put a price tag on certain things, if you know what I mean.”

In addition to the custody suit, Lala revealed that Randall has not paid child support so far. And he has “not yet” been ordered to pay either. However, she noted that they agreed on a certain amount but hinted that Randall is behind on it by three months. Lala explained, “It’s almost three months. Does he know any other way? [But] honestly, I wasn’t expecting it at all. I went into this saying, ‘I don’t need anything.’ But, the state of California, you have a child, you’re supposed to pay. I don’t ever expect anything.”

Lala also disclosed that she’s paying for Ocean’s medical insurance and using her mother as her babysitter. She stated, “I don’t really know what happens at his house. I know that there were many times people that worked at his home were coming to me, demanding to get paid. So I hope he’s paying Ocean’s nanny.” As for Randall’s relationship with Ocean, Lala said, “She sees him a little bit.” Lala then suggested that Randall is under some form of supervised visits after Jeff asked if someone has to be there.

It’s unclear what kind of support Lala will ultimately get given that Randall is being sued left and right these days. And back in October of last year, Randall went to court to request that his child support to ex-wife Ambyr Childers be reduced. The former couple share two daughters together. Randall argued that he could not maintain the agreed upon $50k a month savings account for the kids’ expenses. His attorney said the result would cause Randall to “fall deeper and deeper into debt and will be forced to file for bankruptcy.”
