Kandi Burruss Says Kenya Moore Came For Her On Real Housewives Of Atlanta This Season

Reality TV

Kandi Burruss is certain that fans of Real Housewives of Atlanta will not be disappointed at all with the new season. Kandi is confident that even with the exit of veteran housewives Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams, the show is actually better than the past few seasons.

According to Page Six, Kandi shared a lot of tea about what to expect coming up on the new season of RHOA. Being excited about the direction of the show, she shared, “this season is going to be way better than the last few. I would say it’s a really, really good season and I’m excited for people to watch.”

With etiquette-queen Marlo Hampton finally earning a coveted peach after being a friend of the show since Season 4, Kandi let it be known she definitely brought the drama. Although, Marlo was not the only one who tried to come for Kandi. Someone must have sent for Kenya Moore, because Kandi said Kenya tried to come for as well, though she made it clear that her longtime pal was unsuccessful. “She tried to come for me one time. I gave it back to her. You can’t [try me]. I’m not going for it,” Kandi said with a laugh. “Go try that over there. Don’t try it with me. Try Jesus, don’t try me. That’s how I feel.”

Despite their scuffle, the women were able to patch things up. Kandi opened up, “over the years, Kenya and I have really built a real friendship. Like, we really call each other, check on each other. She pissed me off a little bit, but I think the thing about us [is] we will only go so far because we have a genuine love for each other.” Specifically on season 14 of RHOA, Kandi said, “this new season is even better because the women are a lot more transparent. I’m just giving you that tidbit because it hasn’t come out yet, but it’s going to be really good in that way.”

Speaking of good shows, Kandi’s spinoff show, Kandi & The Gang, showcasing the staff of her Atlanta restaurant Old Lady Gang is definitely entertaining. It’s actually giving classic Vanderpump Rules vibes. Think back to the days of the hookups, the cheating, all of the complaints about being poor, the people ratting each other out to managers, you know, everything Pump Rules used to be. Kandi herself even believes there is “a lot of transparency because I think after so many years, a lot of people don’t want to mess up their brand, they don’t want to show certain things when it comes to RHOA.” She went on, “this is their first season on television so they are extremely transparent about everything that they have going on.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 14 has yet to receive a premiere date. “Kandi & the Gang” airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
