Alessandro Nivola Will Play the Villain in ‘Kraven the Hunter’ Movie

More Kraven the Hunter casting news has arrived this week, with Deadline reporting that Alessandro Nivola (The Many Saints of Newark) will play the villain in Sony’s movie.

Alessandro Nivola has also been seen in Face/Off, Jurassic Park III, The Eye (2008), American Hustle, A Most Violent Year, The Neon Demon, and You Were Never Really Here.

No word yet on the character Nivola will be playing. Start speculating…

Ariana DeBose will play Calypso in Sony’s Kraven the Hunter movie, with Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Avengers: Age of Ultron) recently cast to play the title character.

Deadline reminds, “[Calypso] is a voodoo priestess who utilizes magic potions, and besides being an adversary of Spider-Man, she is also the occasional partner and lover of Kraven.”

Russell Crowe and Fred Hechinger will also star.

J.C. Chandor (A Most Violent Year) is directing Kraven the Hunter.

Kraven the Hunter is currently set for release on January 13, 2023.

The screenplay was written by Art Marcum & Matt Holloway and Richard Wenk.
