Colin Stetson has shared a new piece of music, a preview of his forthcoming soundtrack to David Blue Garcia’s update of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It’s titled “Every Last One.” The rest of the score arrives on February 18 via Milan Records, with the film hitting Netflix the same day. Listen to “Every Last One” below.

Stetson discussed his work on The Texas Chainsaw Massacre in an interview with Variety, saying, “I knew it would be an opportunity to go as far as I wanted in searching for the musical score.” He said he used recordings of a saxophone and hog grunts for the film’s iconic villain, Leatherface.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre score is the latest entry in a large body of soundtrack work from Stetson, who issued three of them in 2020: one for Color Out of Space (More Music From the Motion Picture) that expanded on the 2019 original, another for the documentary The War Show, and the third for the Danish television series Deliver Us. Since scoring the horror film Hereditary in 2018, Stetson has also written music for the National Geographic series Barkskins, the video game Red Dead Redemption 2, and an Adult Swim anime miniseries
