Jennie Nguyen’s Ex-Social Media Manager Claims Jennie Was Hacked & She Never Posted Offensive Memes

Reality TV

The saga of Jennie Nguyen continues. And it’s starting to take us on some weird turns. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star was recently caught posting, liking and sharing racially offensive memes to her Facebook account. Jennie apologized, and even tried to blame her “team”, but the fans, and even her castmates were done with her. The cast were quick to unfollow her on social media and then issue statements of their own, denouncing her rhetoric. And then Bravo rightfully fired her.

Now, Jennie has someone coming to her defense with a strange theory. @therealhousewiveszone on Instagram posted a screen grab of someone who is identifying themself as Jennie’s Ex “Social Media Manager.” The memes were posted in 2020, before Jennie had anything to do with housewives. Or anything else for that matter. Why on earth would she need a social media manager for her Facebook account?

Regardless, the unnamed “employee” posted a picture with Jennie, I guess to prove that they know each other? The next slide is her loony toons explanation about what happened in this mess. The statement began, “@jennienguyenluv’s deactivated Facebook account was HACKED!” They continued, “I was her social media manager (I haven’t been for a while) and she did NOT post those memes. Bravo Media is phenomenal at vetting their talents.” Quick pause – are they though?

The Jennie insider went on, “They are a multi million dollar business and would not let anything like this slip through and jeopardize them. On Wednesday, the PR company told Jennie to issue the apology and she capitulated. Isn’t it convenient that this happens NOW that they are starting to film season 3 @realhousewivesofsaltlakecity ??” They concluded, “Is this story line worth the threats happening to this amazing family?”

Regardless of what Jennie’s former employee us saying, I don’t think anyone is buying it. There are so many holes in the story and it’s hard to imagine that Jennie would be set up for a storyline, only to be let go. The timing would be off too – it’s not like Bravo is actively promoting season 3 of RHOSLC. So what would the ultimate purpose be in all of this? And honestly, who would be hacking Jennie’s account to post these memes in 2020 when she was a nobody? It’s a bonkers conspiracy theory and one that is certainly hard to swallow.

Either way, I’m not the only one who is calling BS. Fans flooded the comments with questions. One user asked, “How can you hack an account and create posts for 2 years ago? MAKE IT MAKE SENSE.” Yes, exactly! Another user chimed in, “Which is it? It was hacked? It was her social media team? It was her confronting burglars while she had a roll over in the snow and it’s been a really rough day? Please.”

We can speculate until the cows come home on this one. Which is exactly what Jennie wants, I’m sure. But despite her explanations, her time is up and she will eventually only be known in the Bravo Universe for this. As she should be.
