Kanye West Says That God Will Bring Him And Kim Kardashian Back Together; Says He Won’t Let Hulu “Write The Narrative” Of His Family

Reality TV

We’re in the Kardashians era 2.0 (or maybe 20.0 at this point). Keeping Up With The Kardashians ended its historic run, but the family isn’t saying goodbye to TV for long, seemingly already filming a new show for Hulu. Kourtney Kardashian has finally officially moved on from Scott Disick, getting engaged to Travis Barker and not caring who knows how much they are in love. Kim Kardashian has become a momager (and one-day lawyer) of her own, even though she’s going through a public divorce from Kanye West. While it seems as though Kimmy has moved on to SNL star Pete Davidson, Ye isn’t so fast to give up on his traditional family unit.

Kanye has recently had a rough few years. He’s very publically grappled with his mental health issues, the pressure of fame, and more. It’s not hard to imagine that behind the scenes, he and Kim’s relationship likely suffered as they’re two of the biggest and most public celebs. But Kanye is continuing to keep things in the public by telling everyone of his plans to win Kim back.

TMZ reports that Kanye spoke about his marriage problems while donating meals at the L.A. Mission before Thanksgiving. He unexpectedly took the mic to speak a bit about religion and family to the crowd, using his marriage and family as the main topic of conversation. He began by acknowledging his public mistakes, some of which he said were “not acceptable as a husband.” “But I’m here to change that narrative. I’m not letting E! write the narrative of my family, I’m not letting Hulu write the narrative of my family,” he added. Yikes. So regardless of how he and Kimmy’s relationship plays out, Kanye likely won’t be doing confessionals for the new Hulu show. Got it.

Kanye continued by saying that even if he is no longer living in the home with his wife, he will get a house “right next to the house” to be as close to his four children as possible. “I need to be back at home,” he said. He then said that God, or “the Kingdom,” will bring him and Kim back together. “There’s going to be millions of families that are going to be influenced,” he added, saying that his suspected resolution with Kim will serve as inspiration for struggling couples to stay together. Unclear if Kim or Pete got the memo, but only time will tell.
