Lisa Barlow calls Jen Shah and Erika Jayne’s legal cases equally ‘horrible’

Reality TV

After being at the center of “caterer-gate” in this week’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” Lisa Barlow is relieved to not be involved in any legal drama.

Barlow compared “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Erika Jayne’s court-related miseries to those of her “RHOSLC” castmate Jen Shah in an exclusive interview with Page Six, calling them equally “horrible.”

“Just from what I’ve seen in the episodes [of ‘RHOBH’] that I’ve watched, it’s crazy. I think it’s crazy,” Barlow said of Jayne’s situation while promoting her partnership with Poly video conferencing products.

The Vida Tequila founder went on to say that, like many Bravo fans, Jayne’s wild stories involving her estranged husband, Tom Girardi, hospital visits, burglars, car wrecks and California snow have left her stunned.

“The stories that are being told … it’s a lot,” Barlow added. “I can’t keep up and maybe it’s in the [Sagittarius] in me but I’m, like, ‘Uh, it’s not really any of my business.’”

Jayne has been sued over allegations that her ritzy lifestyle — including designer clothes, a glam squad and a part-time music career — was underwritten by money from Girardi’s former law firm, Girardi Keese. The couple also stand accused of using their November 2020 divorce filing to hide assets from victims of Lion Air Flight 610, who were represented by the disgraced attorney, 82.

The “XXPEN$IVE” singer has denied having any knowledge of Girardi’s alleged financial wrongdoings.

Meanwhile, Shah and her assistant Stuart Smith were cuffed by federal agents in March for allegedly ripping off hundreds of victims in a telemarketing scam spanning six states for nearly a decade.

Shah pleaded not guilty to the charges in April. Her trial is set for March 22.

“They’re both rough,” Barlow said of Jayne and Shah’s mirroring storylines. “The victims, if there’s guilt involved, it’s a horrific thing.”

“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo, while part one of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Season 11 reunion airs Wednesday, Oct. 13, at 8 p.m. ET.
