Bethenny Frankel Denies Being In Talks With Bravo To Return To Real Housewives Of New York

Reality TV

Former Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel always keeps herself busy. The charitable organization that she founded, B Strong: Disaster Relief, recently came to the aid of victims of the Champlain Towers building collapse in Florida. She has a new show on HBOMax titled The Big Shot with Bethenny.

Bethenny is even coming out with her own toaster oven. What happened to being concerned about “a cheater brand?” Bethenny eviscerated her RHONY co-star Sonja Morgan when Sonja wanted to have a brand called “Tipsy Girl.”

In March of 2021, Bethenny confirmed that her divorce from ex Jason Hoppy was finalized. It only took 8 nightmare-inducing years. And now Bethenny is happily engaged to Paul Bernon.

At the time, Bethenny said that she wasn’t interested in a RHONY return. “I don’t want to go back on ‘Housewives.’ It’s not where I am right now,” Bethenny stated. “I respect that I came from there… I’m moving forward.”

But some of her former cast members were annoyed that Bethenny’s engagement news coincided with the release of the RHONY Season 13 trailer. Ramona Singer called Bethenny out and said that she was “very calculated.”

As for Bethenny, she claimed that she doesn’t tune in to RHONY. Please, girl. “I don’t watch the shows. And I know that will be taken as I think I’m better than, I don’t love where I came from,” Bethenny stated. “I do love where I came from.”

If Bethenny isn’t watching (wink, wink) she isn’t missing out on much. Season 13 had a few bright spots, but much of it was a snooze-fest. Newbie Bershan Shaw told the cast that they acted like “grandmas” and were “a little bit boring.” She’s not wrong.

There were rumors that “OG” Ramona has been fired, which she denied. Filming of the reunion has been pushed back from August until September. The new season won’t begin filming until early 2022, which is later than usual.

There are even crazy rumors that the show was going on hiatus permanently. That was the fate of Real Housewives of Dallas. I don’t believe that Bravo would stop airing an iconic franchise like RHONY.

Some Twitter fans quizzed Bethenny about why this season was tanking.  “I haven’t been watching (no shade at all-I’m just disconnected) but, knowing nothing but what you all message me, teams can’t hit home runs every game,” Bethenny stated. “Time for B to strap up the cleats and bat,” another user wrote.

Bethenny tweeted, “Lol this is not about me. Teams sometimes have sh*tty seasons…sometimes it’s the players, sometimes it’s the coaching or a combination.”

Now Bethenny is shutting down rumors of a return to RHONY. Bethenny tweeted, “I posted on Insta that my being in talks w @BravoTV is [100] false. I deleted there & took here Bc Haiti is what’s important & I don’t want to clutter msgs w false gossip,” the Skinnygirl mogul wrote. “The leak is desperate for attention. I haven’t spoken to bravo since leaving & @Andy [Cohen] & I don’t discuss rhony,” she added.

That sounds pretty definitive. Naturally, the Twitterverse had some thoughts. “I knew it was too Amazing to be true,” one user commented. Another posted, “Why would @Andy want you back. @BravoTV can make money elsewhere and you dragged them all through the mud. Don’t bite the hand that fed you B…we all remember when you were a sample gal!”
