Thomas Bangalter’s first post-Daft Punk project is a new ballet titled Mythologies. A co-production between Opéra National de Bordeaux and the ballet company Ballet Preljocaj, the 90-minute production is about the “founding myths that shape the collective imagination,” reads a translation of the official French description

Choreographer and Ballet Preljocaj founder Angelin Preljocaj is set to direct Mythologies, which will run July 1-10, 2022 at the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux in Bordeaux, France. The Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine will perform Bangalter’s score, with musical direction by Romain Dumas. Find more information here.

In 2018, Bangalter contributed to Gaspar Noé’s Climax soundtrack. The duo of Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo announced in February that Daft Punk had come to an end.
