Elizabeth Lyn Vargas Believes Erika Jayne Didn’t Know About Tom Girardi’s Alleged Embezzlement

Real Housewives of Orange County Elizabeth Lyn Vargas

Erika Jayne is putting on quite the show. Possibly the biggest show of her life. On the latest episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Erika continued to weave a tall tale about how her life has unraveled. A car crash, dementia, hidden cash. Her story has all the makings of a Lifetime movie. Or a documentary on Hulu.

But as wild as her tales are, she has plenty of people in her corner. As in, all of her castmates. Only Sutton Stracke  seemed a little put off by Erika’s stories. And we know from the midseason trailer that Sutton only gets more suspicious. Now, it looks like Erika has another housewife in her corner.

Elizabeth Lyn Vargas might have been let go from Real Housewives of Orange County, but she’s dishing her thoughts on Erika. As reported by Us Weekly, Elizabeth shared her thoughts on the podcast Unpopular.

Elizabeth asserted, “I’m telling you what, girl, I believe you when you say you didn’t know what the f–k he was doing.” And clearly Elizabeth has some experience on the matter. She talked about her divorce on RHOC but was tight lipped when it came to the actual details. Probably because she didn’t want to ruin her chance at a big payout.

She continued, “You don’t know where that money’s going, you don’t even know where you’re getting the money from. You get it, you don’t ask questions, and you enjoy your life. I was in that situation, I completely understand her.”

As for her advice to Erika, Elizabeth said, “I wish I knew her because I would hug her and tell her, coming from nothing and getting something, you’re engulfed in this weird world of money, you don’t ask questions.” Well, I wouldn’t exactly call that advice but hey, at least she’s trying.

Of course Erika is maintaining that she knew nothing, which she might not. All of husband Tom Girardi’s crimes are still alleged. And on a previous episode of RHOBH, she admitted, “I don’t know why I would be named in a lawsuit I have nothing to do with. You have to remember it’s the firm that they’re dragging in. They’re suing the firm and I’m being attached to it.” Looks like that’s her story and she’s sticking to it. For everyone’s sake, especially the victims that were taken advantage of, I hope that what she’s saying is true.
