90 Day Fiance Recap: Three’s a Party

In last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance will make you thankful for you own problems.  Our favorite couples are still adjusting to problems life in another country. This episode has everything from secret flings, pregnancy scares and ruined engagements. I often wonder as a spectator, do these people realize how crazy they look? Or do they just not care? In either case, the delusion is real on this episode. Finally some of these people are starting to take off their rose colored glasses and see their situations for what it truly is.

Julia thinks she’s pregnant. Stephanie and Ryan have an explosive fight.  Natalie demands answers from Mike. Jovi upsets Yara at their engagement party.  Rebecca worries Zied will change his mind about her. Tarik and Hazel pursue finding a girlfriend. Let’s get straight to the recap!

Brandon, 27 (Dinwiddie, VA), and Julia, 26 (Russia)

90 Day Fiance Recap: Three’s a Party

Julia and Brandon are much happier after twisting his parent’s arm to allow them to stay in the same room. Now that they are having more “quality” time, she is worried she may be pregnant. Once Brandon finds out he immediately wants to tell his parents, before she even takes a pregnancy test. Insert side eye. I don’t understand the thought process. Clearly this news will not be welcomed, so why worry them unnecessarily. Just go and buy a test! Julia thinks it’s a bad idea, but she lets Brandon take the lead. Of course when his parent’s find out, they are not happy. But Brandon seems to almost take delight in revealing their secret, before blaming Julia for their predicament. Umm… isn’t this the same guy who didn’t want to use any form of contraception?

After doing nothing to prevent an unwanted pregnancy, reality is started to set in for Julia and Brandon. They both realize they are not ready to have a child. Well, it may be a little too late for that. Nonetheless, Julia finally takes a pregnancy test, only to find out its negative. Brandon’s parents are elated that they won’t have to take care of one more person. But, despite the scare, Julia still refuses to use birth control. Sigh! These two need to grow up fast or get ready to have a baby in the very near future.

Stephanie, 52 (Grand Rapids, MI), and Ryan, 27 (Belize)

90 Day Fiance Recap: Three’s a Party

Stephanie confronts Ryan after finding out that he didn’t use a condom while they are having sex. Considering they haven’t had sex in 10 months and she doesn’t trust him, she is enraged. Frustrated with constantly being accused of cheating, he storms from the hotel. She starts to panic when she thinks he may have taking her mother’s ring, only to find it in the room. She then calls him to say “thank you for not stealing my mother’s ring.”  What! Why do you want to marry someone you think would steal from you? Ryan seems completely confused about why it’s a problem he didn’t use a condom, when that is the norm. But Stephanie is in such frenzy that she resorts to calling Ryan’s cousin, Harris. Ummm…isn’t that the same cousin you cheated on him with? What the hell is she doing? These two are just toxic.

Of course, Harris is more than willing to talk to the rich American woman his cousin is dating. He even agrees to visit Stephanie the next day.  Realizing she has been blown off for the night, she decides to call her trusted psychic to vent. Stephanie is advised to drop Ryan and to see Harris if she wants, but to know he has his own motives. Seriously, this woman is crazy. Not only does she always seem medicated frantic, she makes bad decisions when emotional.

Mike, 35 (Sequim, WA), and Natalie, 35 (Ukraine)

90 Day Fiance Recap: Three’s a Party

Natalie only has one month before her visa expires and she is even further from her goal of being married, than she was when she first arrived. She video calls a therapist in hopes of getting past her trust issues. She confronts Mike about his relationship with his female best friend. Initially he tries to calmly answer her questions, but they quickly get in the screaming match. Natalie even has the nerve to tell him that she is much more beautiful than him. Although, that is true, this is the guy you are practically begging to marry. Frustrated that Natalie won’t let the past go, he confesses he isn’t ready to marry her. Duh! According to Natalie, he is only trying to manipulate her into never questioning him.

Mike takes Natalie for a walk to talk about their issues. She asks for her ring back in order to help her feel more secure, but Mike refuses. This only causes her to get even more upset. She feels like she was taken from her country, only to play the role of a wife, but never become one. Well, it definitely seems that way. Truthfully, I can see both of their sides. They have a lot of work to do, before they can be happy together. But I also understand how it’s upsetting to feel powerless because Mike holds all the power.

Jovi, 29 (New Orleans, LA), and Yara, 25 (Ukraine)

90 Day Fiance Recap: Three’s a Party

It’s the night of the engagement party and it’s already off to a bad start. Yara is still upset that Jovi left her at his parent’s house for several hours, without considering her needs as a pregnant woman. In an effort to appease her, Jovi decides to tell his parents about the baby ahead of schedule. His mother is elated that she will have a new grandchild. But their happiness doesn’t last long, when Yara feels like Jovi is having too much fun without her. When she vents to some of his friends, they agree that he should have made more of an effort to make her comfortable. Considering that she doesn’t have any friends and barely knows his family, I would have to agree he should have spent more time with her. When they step outside to speak to the producers, Yara berates him about drinking and not considering her feelings. Eventually Jovi just walks away after getting tired of being told everything he has done wrong. These two need a therapist or to delay the wedding.  I don’t think either one of them are ready to be married and fully consider another person. The fact that Yara is pregnant, only exacerbates their problems.

90 Day Fiance Recap: Three’s a Party

Rebecca, 49 (Woodstock, GA), and Zied, 27 (Tunisia)

90 Day Fiance Recap: Three’s a Party

Rebecca attempts to do some damage control after flying into a jealous rage, when a pretty girl offered to help Zied to move. Although he reassures her he only has eyes for her, he expects her to trust him. She takes him to finally meet her son and his family. Thankfully it goes much better than when he met her daughter. Things are going well until Rebecca’s daughter-in law inquires if he wants kids of his own. Rebecca’s insecurity goes into overdrive and she worries that he will eventually decide he wants to have kids. Zied believes God has ordained them getting married and if he can’t have kids as a result, he is okay with that. I guess only time will tell if that is true.

Tarik, 46 (Virginia Beach, VA), and Hazel, 28 (Philippines)

90 Day Fiance Recap: Three’s a Party

Tarik and Hazel call his best friend, Angela to tell her about their search for a girlfriend. She is shocked and doesn’t think it’s a good idea to add a third party to their relationship. But Hazel isn’t going to be deterred from having her dream relationship in America. Let’s hope this doesn’t destroy their relationship. She has already displayed jealous tendencies before with the last woman they dated.

TELL US- IS HAZEL ABLE TO HANDLE ANOTHER WOMAN IN HER RELATIONSHIP? DO YOU THINK STEPHANIE WILL SLEEP WITH RYAN’S COUSIN AGAIN? SHOULD NATALIE GIVE UP HOPE ON GETTING MARRIED TO MIKE? DO YOU THINK JOVI WAS WRONG FOR HOW HE ACTED AT THE ENGAGEMENT PARTY OR IS YARA OVERREACTING?
