New Year, new dance music?

Yes, New Year, New Dance Music. I am getting ready to start working on some long awaited tracks. There are two songs that I have been demoing and I hope to complete them really soon. “Rose Like Petals” and “Bat out of Hell” are two demos that I have been streaming during my live performances and my audience seem to really enjoy them. “Rose Like Petals” is one of my only few break-up songs. Many people have described it as the “sassy” side of me. “Bat out of Hell” is a dark yet fun dance song. I wrote Bat out of Hell to be insightful. The lyrics depict the times we are needed to go into some dark and deep territory to help someone out. What would you do for a friend or a family member? I would do just about anything for those that I care about, and that is what “Bat out of Hell” is. In so many words, “I am coming to your rescue like a bat out of hell”!

Any collabs happening this year?

I am always actively looking for new producers, writers, and other singers to collaborate with. I love collaborating on music with producers because they usually have the technical skill set I lack. I love sitting in a studio and working through creative ideas. I am a strong lyricist, which is an area many people are a little self-conscious about. When I am able to collaborate my strengths with the strengths of other creatives, that’s when the magic happens.

What are you doing to stay centered?

To stay centered, I do a lot of self-reflecting. This can be a double edged sword. Sometimes I do too much self-reflecting and I feel that could hinder my creativity and the levels of fluid and expansive energies I need to work with. However, being as self-reflective as I am, in my opinion, allows me to be very insightful in what I share. I like my music to have a deep meaning. I like my music to heal and uplift others, not by distracting them from what is going on in the world, but by helping them build comfort on knowledge and viewpoints that they may have not known they can share with others. I have always been deep thinking and very cerebral. I like to think that my following/fans are the same way.

Can you give us a little sneak peek to your most current project?

My most current project is my upcoming record “Do You Really Wanna”. I was asked to do a theme song to a full length feature horror movie film. The title of the film is “Scare Us”, it is to be released this year (2021). The title of the song is “Do You Really Wanna”. The song is very dark and unlike anything else I have done. The music video is amazing and also very different from any of the other music videos I have done. Even though the music video isn’t very dance heavy, I make up for it in other ways. I am really excited to share this new project with all of you.
