Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Mary Cosby

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion has just begun, and I am here for it! Out of the gate, I was shocked that co-stars Lisa Barlow and Mary Cosby sparred over who talks down to others. In an upcoming episode of the reunion, Mary even took a little nap while filming. I guess she wasn’t nervous about her first reunion.

But where Mary is concerned, RHOSLC viewers have learned to expect the unexpected. Mary seemed to film the second half of the season from her enormous closet while Facetiming her co-stars. Is she lost in all her designer outfits?

Mary’s feud with former friend Jen Shah stemmed from Mary mentioning that someone “smelled like hospital.” Jen, who had been visiting her aunt in the hospital, is still furious. Mary, who says whatever pops in her mind, isn’t going to apologize for the fact that Jen’s aunt landed herself in the hospital. Oof.

The reason that Mary is so memorable has a lot to do with her husband of 22 years. Mary wed her step-grandfather, Robert Cosby, Sr. Mary said that her grandmother made all the arrangements so that Mary would inherit her business empire and church. She is the first lady of Faith Temple Pentecostal Church. Robert Sr. and Mary have one son. And it is never going to stop being gross.

There were rumors that Mary’s church was actually a cult. It was alleged that Mary was using funds from her parishioners to bankroll her lifestyle. However, Mary denied that her church is a cult. “There’s no cult. … My church members, they know those are false allegations,” Mary stated.

Page Six reported that Mary discussed her reasons for joining RHOSLC on the February 10th episode of Watch What Happens Live. A fan asked if Mary thought that God called her to join the franchise. “I don’t do anything that I don’t feel like God called me to do,” Mary explained. After that, she said “And I think that God put me on there because there’s not a lot of people like me that are just completely in love with God, and I’m a woman of faith.”

Mary continued, “I don’t know. And I’m a woman of fashion, so.” Shout out to Mary’s closet! “I don’t know why, but I know it’s God plan,” she added.
