The KLF Release New Film Welcome to the Dark Ages

Music, News

Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty, the men behind the UK-based experimental pop project the KLF, have released a new movie called Welcome to the Dark Ages. Watch a trailer for it below.

According to a press release about the project, Welcome to the Dark Ages follows the first year of the pair’s efforts to build a massive pyramid of bricks made with human cremains. The film, which can be rented or purchased here, also features a previously unreleased version of the KLF’s song “Justified and Ancient” with Jarvis Cocker. After famously deleting their catalog in 1992 and later reuniting in 2017, the KLF brought their catalog to streaming platforms for the first time on January 1.
