Cody Calafiore has won the second part of the final Head of Household competition on Big Brother 22: All-Stars and will compete against Nicole Franzel in the third and last part of this final HOH, which is traditionally the Jury Statements comp. There aren’t any more important competitions on Big Brother than the final three HOH comps. After all, this is the best – and last – opportunity for a big player to be taken out just before the Final 2, giving the other two finalists a much better shot at winning the $500,000 at the finale.
Before the final HOH competitions even started, it was already clear to everyone that Cody is the most dangerous player to take to the Final 2 of Big Brother 22. Nicole and Enzo think that Cody would absolutely win the grand prize over either of them at the finale, and the jury members do seem particularly impressed by Cody’s gameplay throughout the season. With that said, Cody’s plan all along was for him to win part one of the final HOH, which is usually an endurance/physical competition. But then Nicole won that comp, throwing a wrench in Cody’s master plan. After spending weeks preparing Enzo to win the second part of the final HOH, Cody suddenly saw himself going against him.

Cody Calafiore has won the second part of the final HOH on Big Brother: All-Stars. Because Nicole Franzel won the first part, she will now compete against Cody in the last round of this final HOH. Traditionally, that last competition is Jury Statements. On BB16, Cody won that competition over Derrick Levasseur. In the end, it was Cody’s decision to take Derrick to the Final 2. At the finale, Derrick got most of the jury votes and won the season. On BB18, Nicole lost the Jury Statements competition to Paul Abrahamian. However, Paul still chose to take her to the finale. In the end, Nicole won the $500,000 grand prize over Paul. Historically, however, the final HOH winners do typically go on to win their seasons. Between BB2 and BB21, 14 final HOH winners won their respective seasons, versus 6 final HOH winners that ended up in second place.
It’s hard to predict whether Nicole or Cody will win the Jury Statements competition on BB22. They’ve both demonstrated how they have a great memory and have been paying attention to every detail all season long. They also know a lot of the jury members fairly well, considering that many of them were in the Committee alliance. Nonetheless, whoever wins that third part of the Final HOH will decide who to take to the finale. This is terrible news for Enzo Palumbo, who now can only hope for Cody or Nicole to take him to the end. Nicole knows that cutting Cody would virtually guarantee that she will win, but it’s hard to know if she’d cut her biggest ally before the finale. In Cody’s case, he’s an ally to both Enzo and Nicole, and he can probably win over either of them.
The Big Brother 22 finale is on Wednesday, October 28. The Jury Statements competition will be broadcast that night, which means that the fans won’t know who won the final HOH until finale night.
Big Brother 22: All-Stars airs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 8pm EST on CBS.
