90 Day Fiancé’s newlyweds Angela and Michael have some happy news to share. Angela and her Nigerian husband Michael have been trying to tote a baby for as long as fans can remember. To add to their woes, Angela’s daughter Skyla Deem outright refused to donate them her egg and made it clear that she won’t opt for surrogacy either. But the 90 Day Fiancé couple seem to have overcome their child-bearing issues. Angela took to her Instagram to share the good news, and fans haven’t stopped smiling since!

Angela, from Hazlehurst, GA being 54 while her overseas husband Michael was 32, was certainly going to be a problem in the long run. A recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? saw Angela seek out the help of a gynecologist before getting married and he told her that she wasn’t fertile. The doctor had also warned her that she could be facing the risk of having cancer. On hearing the news Michael felt distraught but also re-considered their future together. Michael’s wish to be a father, coupled up with his family’s pressures could have led him to take a second wife, but this was certainly not what Angela would want. On the recent 90 Day Fiancé Tell-All, the couple had a showdown over the topic and Angela even accused Michael of wanting an “anchor baby.” Scottie refusing to surrogate or donate her egg, made Michael suggest IVF which Angela brushed aside due to its costliness. While the season ended with the couple still angry at each other over their baby, and of course, Angela’s decision to get weight loss surgery, the 90 Day Fiancé pair has let fans in on a sweet secret.

Angela and Michael have recently become parents! But, for now, it’s not a human baby that they’ve welcomed into their lives but a four-legged one instead. The 90 Day Fiancé star posted pictures of one of her grandchildren holding a rottweiler puppy on Instagram with the caption, “Well here is Michael and I baby boy.” Angela shared the adorable name she’d picked for their first-born, “Meet our son Tekashi.” The grandmother joked, “See I kept my word,” before adding, “we are proud parents.” Angela’s 90 Day Fiancé co-star and Colt’s mother Debbie Johnson who’s also a pet-parent appreciated her gesture. “Such a beautiful baby, congratulations to both parents,” wrote Debbie. “Make sure you get lots of rest. Babies keep you up at night,” she teased Angela.

However, Angela is expectedly also getting flak for her decision. A few 90 Day Fiancé fans are calling her out for guilt-tripping Michael by getting a puppy. “You’re wrong for this. Michael has been upfront and honest from day one that he wanted a child,” reads a top-rated comment on Angela’s post. Another TLC viewer writes, “His family in Nigeria must be insulted.”

Angela and Michael seem to be in a happier place with their marriage now, after their latest appearance on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Strikes Back. For now, Angela’s top priority seems to be her rumored fitness-themed spin-off with celebrity trainer Natasha Fett. And with Michael waiting to come to America as soon as the danger of COVID-19 passes, the 90 Day Fiancé couple would be at ease to sit down and talk their tensions out. Until then, it would be wonderful to see how Michael and Angela bond over being dog-ma and paw, while not letting things get more ruff.
