Revamped ‘Phoenix Point: Year One Edition’ Launches December 10 on Steam

Horror

Released this past December, Snapshot Games’ turn-based strategy game Phoenix Point will be getting a refined version later this year with Phoenix Point: Year One Edition. This definitive version of the game will contain all of the DLC (the last of which was released three weeks ago), as well as “a slew of updates, upgrades, fixes, and new content”.

Set for December 10, the Year One Edition will also include the game’s soundtrack, a digital art book, “The Compendium”, the game’s manual and desktop wallpapers. No word on if this version of the game will be available on the PS4 or Xbox One.

You can wishlist the Year One Edition on Steam.

The story for Phoenix Point concerns the discovery of the Pandoravirus in 2022. By 2047, the virus had spread worldwide, leaving humanity nearly wiped out, with mutated alien creatures holding court over the globe. The Phoenix Project is a worldwide organization, designed to be activated when humanity is in crisis. Now, the world’s best scientists, engineers, and soldiers look to you to lead mankind back from the brink.
