Monique Samuels Storms Out On Real Housewives Of Potomac Tonight

Monique Samuels Real Housewives Of Potomac

Sundays have become the best night of the week thanks to Real Housewives of Potomac. The ladies are really on their game this season. On tonight’s episode, Ashley Darby hosts a sip and see event for the ladies to meet her baby Dean. In real life, this sounds like a sweet event where everyone would be soft-spoken and considerate of an infant. But, on this show, it’s not gonna go that way.

Instead, Ashley will sit there holding baby Dean while the Real Housewives of Potomac cast argues. Candiace Dillard calls Monique Samuels a “flip-flopper,” but Monique isn’t having it, telling Candiace that she is the true flip-flopper in the group. Candiace’s friend Wendy Osefo and majorly stirs the pot asking the group which women are really friends. Clearly, they orchestrated this to redirect the narrative after the women came down on Candiace during last week’s episode.

As if Monique didn’t have enough drama with Candiace and Wendy blatantly trying to provoke her, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan is back. Again. Why is this woman making so many frequent appearances? She basically had no storyline on this show when she was actually a cast member, other than divorcing her husband who lived in a different state. Yet, here she is, eagerly taking every opportunity she can to stir shit up, without actually uttering one creative one-liner.

Aside from instigating Monique, Wendy also has some issues with Karen Huger, who has pretended not to know Wendy even though they’ve “met” many times over. Who does Karen think she is? Mariah Carey?

There is just so much tension in this group and so many storylines already. The Beverly Hills Housewives really need to take some notes. In addition to double-teaming Monique with Wendy, Candiace and Ashley have a heated exchange as well. Ashley speaks for all of us when she tells Candiace, “You have a hard time just being held accountable for what you say and do. It’s being talked about behind your back.”

Gizelle Bryant celebrates her birthday with her ex-husband and current boyfriend Jamal Bryant along with their three daughters, who are not on board with their new romance. At all.  During the season premiere, they told Gizelle that they felt like he was only working on his relationship with his kids to impress Gizelle, which doesn’t seem like an assumption that’s far off.  On tonight’s episode, Jamal buys the girls a restaurant… in Atlanta… even though they’re tweens that live in Potomac, Maryland.

Obviously, this “gift” is a way for them to save money as they grow up, but it just seems like more of a flex to make himself look good than anything else, but maybe hopefully I’m wrong.

And as for Robyn Dixon, she’s just there, like she has been this whole time without any storyline.
