Teddi Mellencamp And Her Kids Received Death Wishes From Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Fans

Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Teddi Mellencamp

Even the fan favorites from reality television have their fair share of haters. If a show is watched by enough people, pretty much every cast member is going to have supporters and some haters who just aren’t their fans.

Teddi Mellencamp hasn’t been the most loved cast member on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which is a nice way of putting it. For the most part, people hate on her for being “boring” or “too normal” or just not having an “interesting” storyline. Of course, there’s also that famous last name that seemingly got her in the door. And, then there’s the pot stirring, which someone has to do on every (entertaining) reality show. Is Teddi the best reality TV star of all time? No, but that’s about it. Teddi and her children have received death wishes from “fans” and that is not-at-all justified. No matter what Teddi has said and done on this show, that is really crossing the line.

Recently, Teddi shared a video on Instagram where she talked about this experience. She said, “Hey, guys. I just wanted to record a message here for a quick second. So, I’m sure some of you have noticed that I had to delete commenting off my last post.”

She continued, “And there’s something I wanted to say about that, I have always loved doing Real Housewives, the good, the bad, and the ugly because I know it’s an escape for so many people watching.”

Teddi shared, “I know when I watch [Real Housewives ofPotomac, I am laughing, I am loving it, I am picking my favorites, all of those things that you’re supposed to do on these television shows. But, what’s happening right now is taking it to the next level.”

Teddi revealed, “I had so many comments on my last post saying they wish I was dead, wishing harmful things on my children, and that’s really where like enough is enough. You guys tune in for drama, then enjoy the drama, but coming after people that you do not know and wishing they’ve died has got to stop.” Seriously. That really is awful.

Wish that Teddi wasn’t on the show or wish that she said interesting things in a group setting instead of only getting snarky during her confessionals. Wish that we never have to hear the word “accountability” on this show ever again. Those are all acceptable wishes, but do not wish death on Teddi, her kids, or anyone else. That is not acceptable.

In her caption, Teddi wrote, “Please watch the show. Enjoy it. It’s entertainment and our lives can be crazy! Pick your faves and your villains, laugh, cry, relate etc but wishing death on another human is just wrong on so many levels. I hope those that follow me or those that just come on to troll can understand and respect that this needs to stop.”

In response to the video, Teddi’s BFF Kyle Richards posted a red heart emoji. Lisa Rinna commented, “It’s a fucking TV show people.”

Real Housewives of Orange County star Braunwyn Windham-Burke wrote, “It was so great to meet you at BravoCon, you are a sweet, kind, and REAL person.” Former Orange County Housewife Gretchen Rossi told Teddi, “Proud of you for this. Agreed 100%.”

Erika Jayne, D’Andra Simmons, and Beau Clark all clicked “like” on Teddi’s video.
