Animal rights group PETA claims that Jeff Lowe is trying to start a feud with them to gain notoriety, after the success of Tiger King, which featured him. They are asking a judge to intervene so as to stop the fighting that is going on between the two parties. It is unknown if the judge will rule in their favor or side with Lowe. Tiger King has been one of Netflix’s most successful – and controversial – documentary series’. They are even selling costumes of Joe Exotic to capitalize on the scandal and notoriety that Tiger King brought to discussions about big cat sanctuaries.

PETA seems more concerned with starting controversies where there are none rather than doing good.

It seems a bit hypocritical that they are accusing the Lowes of engaging in the exact same behavior. The Lowes, for their part, claim that PETA is lying… and in danger of committing perjury. Tiger King fans and critics will have to wait to see how the judge will rule.
