Awesome MCU Supercut Shows The Infinity Saga In Two Minutes

Movies

A new fan edit combines the entire Infinity Saga into two minutes. At this point, whether a superhero fan or not, almost everybody has at least heard about the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So far, there have been 23 movies in the MCU, which have introduced over a dozen superheroes across eleven years.

Marvel Studios and Paramount Pictures started the universe out strong with Iron Man in 2008, which is still considered one of the best MCU movies by many fans and critics. Disney made the MCU even more profitable when they bought Marvel Studios for over $4 billion in 2009. The first MCU movie to be distributed by the House of Mouse was The Avengers in 2012, which was no doubt one of the most anticipated films of the year, seeing that it was the first team-up movie in the series. The MCU has had some hits and misses over the years, but all of the films were building up to the events of Avengers: EndgameNow, one fan has condensed the eleven-year venture into one 2 minute clip.

Gugga Leunnam recently shared his fan edit called “A Ride Through the MCU Action Vol. 5”, which encompasses all 23 films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The supercut is not only able to capture some of the greatest action sequences in the MCU, but also some of the genuine emotion Marvel has made fans feel in the last eleven years. Leunnam’s edit can be seen in his YouTube video below:

While the Infinity Saga has come to a close, the MCU is far from being over. Disney has announced a total of eight films that will be released between now and 2022, starting with Black Widow in November. Spider-Man, Thor, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, and Captain Marvel will also all be getting new solo movies in Phase 4, but Disney also plans to introduce the Eternals and Shang-Chi to the MCU next year. Disney is also giving fans several Marvel TV shows to enjoy from home on Disney+ such as She-Hulk and WandaVision, and they are even dipping into animation territory with What If…?In short, the superhero genre isn’t dying down anytime soon.

Superhero movies had been around for decades before the MCU, but it’s fair to say the genre is more popular now than ever before thanks in part to the MCU. As mentioned above, this fan edit no doubt encompassed some of the best parts of the MCU, which will likely make fans feel incredibly nostalgic since some moviegoers have seen every Marvel movie in theaters since 2008. Fans have had to wait a bit longer than expected to see the next film in the MCU, so they are more than ready to see the adventures continue come November.
