Beastie Boys and Spike Jonze to Release New Photo Book

Music, News

Beastie Boys have announced a new photo book with longtime collaborator Spike Jonze. Simply titled Beastie Boys, the new book arrives March 17 via Rizzoli and will compile shots of the Beasties taken by Jonze from throughout their career, from the music video shoot for “Sabotage”—Jonze’s first video for the band—to the cover shoot for their 1999 greatest hits album Sound of Silence. Jonze also contributed an afterword for the book, with Mike D and Ad-Rock contributing text as well.

In 2018, Jonze contributed to the Beastie Boys Book, a massive, 600-page collection of photos, interviews, and ephemera. Last year saw them take that book on the road with the “Beastie Boys Story” shows.
