The world awaits CLO’s fresh new sounds. 2020 will be the year of her new release.  Learn more about her current and upcoming plans.

Hi CLO, what can you share with our readers about your upcoming new music?

Hello, thanks for chatting with me! My debut record is on the way! 2020 is going to be a very exciting year… My producer, Warren Huart, and I have created something pretty special that I can’t wait to share! Stay tuned 🙂

How long have you been working on the new music and how many hours a day do you spend in the studio?

I’ve been working on this project since February 2019, and it has been the best experience of my life so far. Honestly being in the studio is one of my favorite places to be, so the time really flies… But typically it will be a full day – and I love every minute of it.

What have been the greatest moments in the recording process so far?

There has been so many amazing memories while recording my music, but the day we tracked drums and bass was incredible. We tracked at Sunset Sound which is an iconic recording studio here in L.A, where artists like Prince and Elton John have recorded their music. I had musicians Matt Musty on drums, and Jon Button on bass who are bad ass, mega talented artists, and really knocked it out out of the park on my songs… it was an electric day!

What do you see as your greatest musical asset?

I think as a musician it is important to have many different assets and tools to be successful, but personally I think greatest musical asset is my ability to perform. I grew up performing live, so I feel very confident and comfortable on stage.

Favorite song of 2019 so far?  Yours?  And Not Yours?

I’m biased because my songs are babies and I love them so much! But besides my music, I’ve heard so much amazing music this year it’s hard to pick one song!

If you could perform with any artist (alive or not) who would it be and where?

If I could perform with any artist it would be Frank Ocean, because he is one of my favorite artists of all time. His music resonates with me so deeply, and has influenced the way I write and sing a lot.
