[Trailer] Dark Reimagining of “A Christmas Carol” Coming to FX and BBC One in December

From the creator of “Peaky Blinders” and the producers of “Taboo” comes the chilling new drama “A Christmas Carol,” playing up the darkest, spookiest aspects of the classic tale.

The mini-series is set to arrive just in time for the holidays, described as “a haunting, hallucinatory, spine-tingling immersion into Scrooge’s dark night of the soul.”

“A Christmas Carol” will premiere December 19 on BBC One in the United Kingdom and on FX in the United States. You can check out the full official trailer below.

The cast includes Guy Pearce as Ebenezer Scrooge and Andy Serkis as the Ghost of Christmas Past, along with Stephen GrahamJoe AlwynCharlotte Riley and Vinette Robinson.

Ridley Scott and Tom Hardy exec produced, and Nick Murphy directed all three episodes.
