Xiu Xiu Cancel Tour, Citing Mental Health

Xiu Xiu have canceled their upcoming tour dates, their label Polyvinyl announced yesterday (September 19). “Jamie [Stewart] needs to take some time to focus on his mental health and get the proper rest he needs in order to do so,” the label wrote. Find the announcement, as well as a poster featuring Xiu Xiu’s previously announced shows, below.

Xiu Xiu released their latest album Girl With Basket of Fruit in February. The band, whose touring lineup features founder Jamie “Butch Jenny” Stewart, Thor Harris, and Christopher Pravdica, played shows earlier this year in support of the record.
