UPDATE: No sooner did we publish this, but Nintendo announced that Devil May Cry 2 will be available on the Switch September 19th! Also, 3909’s Return of the Obra Dinn, which first launched for PC in October 2018, is coming to Switch this fall.

Nintendo dropped several bombs for genre fans during this edition of Nintendo Direct. For starters, Access Games’ cult classic Deadly Premonition will be headed to the Switch. In fact, it’s out now! That’s not all, either. We’ll be seeing a sequel! Publisher Rising Star Games and developer Toybox Games have announced Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise for the Switch in 2020.

And that rumoured DOOM 64 port? Well, that’s headed to the Nintendo Switch on November 22nd! Keep in mind also that last month, the game was rated for the PC and PlayStation 4, as well. That ties in well with DOOM Eternal, which is due out on the same day.
