Shots fired from the OC to the Big Apple!
Tamra Judge took aim at Bethenny Frankel, slamming the Skinnygirl’s statement about “walking away” from Real Housewives of New York.
“I hate when a Housewife either gets fired or says she quit,” the Real Housewives of Orange County star said during an interview with E!’s Daily Pop. “But when they go on record and say ‘I just need to spend time with my kids.’ That’s what I just like, really? Cause you weren’t spending time with them? Because we work three hours a day!”
Another reason Tamra doesn’t buy for a Housewife’s exit? When she claims “‘the drama’s just too much for me. I can’t stand the toxic environment.’” According E! host Carissa Culiner, Tamra went on to clarify during the interview that she “just hate[s] it when people aren’t honest about the way they’re leaving the show.”

The RHOC veteran’s characteristically harsh comments about Bethenny‘s exit seem to come out of left field, particularly considering her fellow Housewives star never mentioned the show’s drama in her statement. (On August 21, Bethenny announced she was stepping away from RHONY ahead of Season 12 in order to focus on her daughter Bryn, her philanthropic efforts and her production partnership with Mark Burnett to create new television content for women.)
However, E! host Justin Sylvester — who conducted the interview — was quick to play devil’s advocate and defend Tamra‘s comments.

“I got what she was saying,” he said during the episode. “Sometimes when women leave the show, they undercut the other cast mates to make it sound like they’re not doing what’s important in life.”
Since her surprise announcement, several other Housewives have spoken out about Bethenny‘s abrupt exit from the series, including co-stars Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer and RHOP‘s Gizelle Bryant. Production for Season 12 of RHONY began in August. The show, sans Queen B, is expected to premiere early next year.
