UK’s Frasers Group MD Ger Wright to leave role, remain on board

Ger Wright will be leaving her role as Managing Director of Sport at Frasers Group plc (“Frasers” or the “Group”) on November 30th 2024 but will remain on the Board as a Non-Executive Director.

Since her appointment in 2022, Ger has made a significant contribution to the execution of the Group’s Elevation Strategy. The Group’s Sport proposition has evolved during her tenure with the introduction of our Running and Outdoor concepts, the onboarding of new brands, and international expansion into new markets. Ger leaves behind a talented and ambitious team who will continue to evolve and drive the Elevation Strategy in Sport.

Ger Wright will step down as managing director of sport at Frasers Group on November 30, 2024 but will remain on the board as a non-executive director.
Since her 2022 appointment, she has played a key role in the Group’s Elevation Strategy, driving initiatives such as new concepts, brand partnerships, and international expansion.
CEO Michael Murray praised her leadership and ongoing sector expertise.
