Throwback Survival Horror Title ‘Crow Country’ Launches on the Switch and PS4 on October 16 [Trailer]

Horror

It’s pretty obvious by now that October is loaded with titles for gamers. SFB Games is adding to the pile by announcing that Crow Country, which was released earlier this year onto Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, will be getting a release on the Switch and the PlayStation 4 on October 16.

The release on the Switch and PS4 coincides with a new update that further optimizes Crow Country, which will be available on the same day. The devs also teased “a few more surprises” later this month.

The abandoned Crow Country theme park is finally throwing open its rusty gates for intrepid explorers today, with horrifying secrets awaiting those brave enough to venture inside. In this new horror game inspired by classics from the original PlayStation, the year is 1990 and you are Mara Forest, a young woman determined to understand why the mysterious Edward Crow closed his famed amusement park and how exactly he vanished.

Calling back to classic Survival Horror games of old, you’ll be managing limited resources to survive against the mysterious monsters that stalk the eerie tranquillity of Crow Country, and overcome the many puzzles and challenges that stand between you and a disturbing mystery. You’ll hunt for clues, encounter curious characters, and immerse yourself in a handcrafted, richly atmospheric game-world evocative of late ’90s pre-rendered graphics.

And just in case you missed it, check out Aaron’s review of Crow Country.
