Music

Bad Bunny has been cast in a forthcoming film from director Darren Aronofsky, Deadline reports. The crime thriller, titled Caught Stealing, will also star Elvis lead Austin Butler as Hank Thompson, a former baseball player who becomes enmeshed in the seedy underworld of 1990s New York City. Bad Bunny’s character has not yet been revealed.

Caught Stealing is based on a book of the same name by Charlie Huston, who is penning the script for Aronofsky’s picture. The cast will also include Zoë Kravitz, Liev Schreiber, Regina King, Matt Smith, and Will Brill.

Bad Bunny made his acting debut in 2021, when he appeared on the Netflix series Narcos: Mexico. He’s since shared the screen with Brad Pitt in the 2022 David Leitch action flick Bullet Train, and acted in the Amazon film Cassandro with Gael Garcia Bernal.

Bad Bunny issued his latest studio LP, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana, last year.
