Behaviour Interactive and Supermassive Games have dropped a new “Features” trailer for The Casting of Frank Stone, which is due out in a matter of weeks. Premiering at the Xbox Gamescom Broadcast, the trailer (just as it sounds) revealed several features for the game, including couch co-op and a couple of bonus mechanics once you complete your first playthrough.

Taking a cue from Supermassive’s The Quarry and its Death Rewind feature is the Cutting Room Floor. This allows players to step into the director’s chair and revisit key story decisions, seek out missing collectibles, or replay your favorite moments from the game without actually having to start a new game. Players can unlock the Cutting Room Floor by completing The Casting of Frank Stone for the first time, or by purchasing the Deluxe Edition of the game.

Missed a Trinket during your first playthrough? With Plunderer’s Instinct, you be able to remedy that. Sharing its name with a Dead by Daylight Survivor Perk, the feature highlights the aura of any Trinket Chest you might have missed. With the simple press of a button, the aura of all nearby Trinket Chests will be revealed. Once again you can unlock Plunderer’s Instinct by completing the game, or unlocking it for your first playthrough by pre-ordering.

For those who want that classic slasher film experience, there’s the 8MM Camera feature. When characters in the game find themselves stalked by an invisible presence, players can use the 8 MM camera lens to observe their supernatural pursuer.

Lastly, The Casting of Frank Stone borrows from The Dark Pictures Anthology with a Couch Co-op feature, allowing up to 4 friends to play through the game together in one room. Players will pass the controller back and forth as the character perspective changes throughout the game.

The Casting of Frank Stone set to officially release on September 3 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Standard and Deluxe Editions of the game are now available for pre-order.
