France’s LVMH appoints Alessandro Valenti as new CEO of Givenchy

French luxury conglomerate LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton has announced the appointment of Alessandro Valenti as the new chief executive officer (CEO) of Givenchy, effective immediately. LVMH announced this news yesterday in a post on X. Valenti, who was most recently the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) president of Louis Vuitton, succeeds Renaud De Lesquen, who had served as CEO since 2020.

Valenti brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously worked at Giorgio Armani and Ralph Lauren before joining LVMH in 2014 as managing director of Louis Vuitton France and Monaco.

Valenti, previously EMEA president of Louis Vuitton, succeeds Renaud De Lesquen, who served as CEO since 2020.
Valenti’s extensive experience includes roles at Giorgio Armani and Ralph Lauren before joining LVMH in 2014 as managing director of Louis Vuitton France and Monaco.

“Alessandro has 25 years of international experience. His extensive knowledge of the luxury industry, including more than ten years at Louis Vuitton, coupled with his retail expertise and managerial skills, will be key assets in taking Givenchy to reach new milestones,” said Givenchy’s board chairman Sidney Toledano.
