The reality television community is mourning the loss of one of its budding stars.

KeKe Jabbar, who appeared in OWN’s Love and Marriage: Huntsville, has died, her family confirmed through social media star Marcella Speaks. She was 42.

“It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved KeKe,” the statement read by Marcella during a livestream July 2, explained. “She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love. She was a mom, a sister, and a great friend full of life, love and laughter. She will be sorely missed and at this time, we are asking for respect and privacy in our moment of grief while we process this great loss. The Jabbar Family and the Scott Family.”

KeKe’s cousin, LaTisha Scott—who has starred in Love and Marriage since 2019—also shared another statement to her Instagram, adding on July 2, “This is hard for our family!!”
