Nicole Kidman has confirmed the magical rumors: a Practical Magic sequel is officially in the works! Fans of the 1998 cult classic can rejoice as both Nicole and Sandra Bullock are set to reprise their iconic roles.

A Magical Reunion

Rumblings of a sequel to Practical Magic started to bubble up earlier this week, and Nicole wasted no time addressing them. In a recent interview with People, she dished while promoting her upcoming Netflix movie A Family Affair.

“Yes, I will be in it. And Sandy will be in it. And that’s that,” Nicole confidently declared. She teased, “There’s a lot more to tell which is why we go, ‘OK, this is kind of interesting now to be able to do this.’”

What to Expect

While details are still under wraps, we know that Akiva Goldsman, who has a knack for crafting engaging screenplays, will be taking the helm for this sequel. Given the original’s blend of whimsy, drama, and a touch of darkness, fans can expect another spellbinding story.

Nicole and Sandra’s chemistry was a big part of what made Practical Magic so enchanting. Seeing them together again on screen is sure to reignite that same magic.

Her latest movie A Family Affair is set to premiere on Netflix on June 28. If you haven’t already, make sure to check out the trailer – it promises to be another hit!

Nicole and Sandra back together? This is the reunion we’ve all been waiting for!
