‘Elden Ring’ Has Now Sold Over 25 Million Copies

Horror

With Elden Ring fans getting ready to jump back into the game next week for the Shadow of the Erdtree, FromSoftware took the time to remind everyone just how successful their Soulslike has been. According to the developer, total worldwide shipments and digital sales for Elden Ring have surpassed 25 million units.

Breaking that down further, Bandai Namco had announced back in February 2023 that the RPG had surpassed 20 million in sales since its launch in February 2022. Sure, the pace of sales has slowed down dramatically, but 5 million in additional sales since that time is no small feat. And obviously, once Shadow of the Erdtree arrives, you can bet sales will increase once again.

In Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, players step into the Realm of Shadow to explore a new adventure full of mysteries and danger, to confront threatening bosses with new weapons and armor. Follow in the footsteps of Miquella and unravel the dark side of the story to Elden Ring.

Shadow of the Erdtree will arrive on June 21 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and the Xbox Series. Several editions of the expansion are available for fans to pre-order via the Bandai Namco store.
