This is how Luke Bryan rolls.

Amid the search for Katy Perry‘s American Idol replacement, the “Love You, Miss You, Mean It” singer is going with the flow.

“We’re waiting to hear who the show is going to pick,” Luke exclusively told E! News at CMA Fest 2024’s Spotify House, held at Ole Red in Nashville. “I know that Pink, her name was thrown around, Miley Cyrus.”

Meghan Trainor also recently expressed interest in taking Katy’s seat the judges’ table alongside Luke and Lionel Richie.

“The whole thing about that role is you gotta have personality and you gotta have fun with it every day,” Luke said. “And I think Meghan has fun with her career, she’s kind of like me. She doesn’t take herself too serious, she has fun with her music. So, yeah, that’d be great.”

Regardless of who lands the coveted Idol role, Luke is ready to welcome the new team member with open arms.

“I’ll support her or whoever all the people at ABC decide to go with,” he added. “And it’ll be exciting to see who they decide to fill Katy’s seat.”
