Marjorie Taylor Greene accuses Rachel Levine of “mental illness” for opposing institutional racism

LGBTQ Entertainment News

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) attacked Assistant Secretary for Health Admiral Rachel Levine for posting a Black History Month message to social media.

In Levine’s video, she talks about how “climate change is having a disproportionate effect on the physical and mental health of Black communities,” a fact supported by science.

“Here is a man pretending to be a woman claiming the climate is hurting black Americans more than others,” Greene said, attacking Levine for being transgender. Greene didn’t say why she doubts Levine’s statements that Black people are being disproportionately affected by climate change.

“This is the Democrat Party,” she continued angrily. “Mental illness on full display.”

Many people mocked Greene in response.
