Gordon Thornton, 71, claims he gave ‘RHOP’ star Mia, 38, a hall pass to sleep with other men due to his age

Gordon Thornton, the estranged husband of “Real Housewives of Potomac” star Mia Thornton, claims he gave her the green light to sleep with other men to “satisfy” her needs.

“I know there’s going to come a time when I probably won’t be able to satisfy all of her needs,” the 71-year-old, who recently had prostate cancer surgery, told TMZ in an interview published Sunday.

Gordon further claimed to the outlet that he told his estranged wife, 38, that she could “find what [she] need[ed] elsewhere.”

“What really aggravates me through all of this, is that I’d given her permission, and yet she still chooses to sneak around, chooses to lie, chooses to continually change her story about what’s going on and why she’s leaving me,” he explained.

As Page Six previously reported, the exes split in September after 11 years of marriage.

Gordon allegedly asked the “Real Housewives of Potomac” star — whom he shares two children with — not to sneak around or involve their kids in her extramarital affairs.

They share son Jeremiah, 7, and daughter Juliana, 5. Both Mia and Gordon — who wed in 2012 — also have one child from previous relationships.

While Gordon may have been sympathetic to Mia’s needs, he told TMZ that he asked her not to “give [him] a reason” to question her honesty and to “keep the kids out of it.”

“I said [she] could see someone — just don’t make it public. Be careful and don’t involve the kids. Well, she’s still sneaking around and thinking that I didn’t know,” he added.

Despite his requests, the businessman allegedly found Mia being dishonest about another man she was seeing.

Gordon alleged that he found records of phone calls between Mia and her alleged new partner at “2 o’clock in the morning” and when the businessman was “away from home.”

“I knew what was going on,” he said.

Since their split, Gordon alleged that Mia has upgraded to another man who has “access to funds” that he no longer has.

“I absolutely believe her leaving me now is tied to the fact that I don’t have access to assets and my funds are limited at this point in time,” the dad of three claimed.

The couple announced they were divorcing last month after 11 years of marriage.

Mia has allegedly voiced to her estranged husband that she and an unidentified man are “buying a house together” and planning on “growing businesses together.”

However, he claims to the outlet that the reality star’s romance is “based on monetary gain from the relationship.”

“I absolutely believe that she’s leaving me because she sees an upgrade,” Gordon alleged.

“My desire is to never, ever, ever be associated with her again beyond our co-parenting situation. If we end up getting back together, it will only truly be for some advantage for the kids. It wouldn’t be for love.”
