Jack White and his label Third Man have partnered with Everything But The House to auction memorabilia from his garage and the label’s archives. A portion of the proceeds from the auction benefit Southwest Detroit’s Clark Park Coalition. Check out the auction here.
The items on offer range from musical gear and music video set props to furniture, electric vehicles, and mechanical novelties. They include the White Stripes-era Framus acoustic guitar from the “We’re Going To Be Friends” music video, White’s blue Ernie Ball St. Vincent guitar used on the Boarding House Reach tour, the bright yellow vintage CitiCar Third Man used to deliver the World’s Fastest Record, gear from the Third Man Studio, props from the Raconteurs’ Consolers of the Lonely album shoot, and White’s personal 2013 Tesla Model S.
In August 2020, White and Third Man auctioned off guitars, Meg White’s crash cymbal, and the drum kit from the White Stripes’ “Hardest Button to Button” music video to benefit the John Peel Centre, Gideon’s Army, and the Detroit Phoenix Center.
White’s last solo album was 2022’s Entering Heaven Alive. In February he was the musical guest on the Woody Harrelson-hosted episode of Saturday Night Live. He’s set to appear in the new Martin Scorcese’s new film Killers of the Flower Moon in October.
