Valerie Bertinelli is sharing her unfiltered thoughts on cosmetics treatments.
After being accused of getting Botox, the One Day at a Time alum not only addressed the claim but also the negative connotation that is sometimes associated with the popular injectable.
“I know you didn’t mean that as a compliment, but let’s talk about it, shall we?” Valerie began her July 17 video, referring to the comment she received from an online user. “I have tried Botox…and I hated it.”
At the time, the 63-year-old, who revealed she got the facial injectable six years ago, had hoped it would improve her features. Alas, that wasn’t the case.
“It sort of changed the shape of my eyebrows,” she explained. “And what I thought it was going to do was help me with my genetically puffy eyes. They’ve always annoyed me. I’ve always wanted those deep-set eyes. Don’t have them, never going to get them, so I just live with it.”
