Silvana Estrada Shares Video for New Song “Milagro y Desastre”: Watch

It’s the first song the Mexican artist has written solely with her voice

Silvana Estrada has shared a video for her new single “Milagro y Desastre.” The first song the Mexican artist has written with only her voice, “Milagro y Desastre” features solo harmonies created with a loop pedal, with textures added afterwards in the studio. It was produced by her longtime collaborator Gustavo Guerrero. Check out the Camila Grandi-directed video below.

Of the new song, Estrada said in a statement:

“This song was born out of my belief that big life-changing events are equal parts miracle and disaster. This idea has helped me a lot to understand and heal my experiences over the years. In this song I wanted to vindicate all the faces of love, even the love that hurts when it ends.”

Last year Estrada released the Abrazo EP and was named Best New Artist at the 2022 Latin Grammys. This weekend (June 1) she kicks off her European tour with a show in Liverpool, United Kingdom, the first of 28 scheduled throughout the continent this summer. Last month she shared a cover of Suzanne Vega’s 1982 hit “Tom’s Diner.”
