Scheana Shay accused Tom Sandoval of telling Raquel Leviss that he was in an open relationship with Ariana Madix months before their affair began.
“Raquel was told in the hot tub at Coachella last April, by Sandoval, that they were in an open relationship, and he was coming onto her,” Shay, 38, alleged on the “Vanderpump Rules: Pumped Up Edition” reunion.
Sandoval vehemently denied telling Leviss that and called the accusation “bulls–t.”
“I did not f–king say that,” Sandoval, 40, shot back.
The episode showed a previously unaired scene of Shay, 38, telling Madix, 37, what she had heard after Leviss, 28, and Sandoval’s affair – called Scandoval – was exposed in early March.
“Apparently in April [2022], she told this person that at Coachella, after you went to sleep, they were in the hot tub, he made a comment to her and was like, ‘So you know Ariana and I are like open right?’ And that he started coming onto her at f–king Coachella.”
Madix appeared stunned by the claim and also emphasized “that has never been the case ever.”
During the most current season of the hit Bravo show, Madix and Sandoval, 40, faced rumors that they were in an open relationship, but they each denied it at the time.

“That is the most f–king ridiculous f–king thing ever,” Sandoval said during a beach outing, when Shay asked him about the rumblings.
Meanwhile, Madix took to Twitter in January to clarify their status after the Season 10 trailer teased that they were open. “We dont have an open relationship,” she tweeted at the time. “i’m really not that cool. thought that was obvious. #pumprules.”
Despite both parties agreeing they were in an exclusive relationship, Sandoval was having an affair with Leviss that began in early August, briefly stopped, and then started back up again from September until March.
Madix found out about the months-long dalliance when she saw a sexually explicit FaceTime recording of her ex-BFF on her ex-boyfriend’s phone on March 1. She dumped him that night and the affair made headlines two days later.
“Vanderpump Rules” airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo while the “Pumped Up” uncensored, longer edition streams on Peacock the next day.
