The “Girls Next Door,” who?
Bravo’s new reality show “Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard” features four women who met each other while working as Playboy Club Bunnies in New York City — an experience that Jasmine Cooper’s husband says has “forever bonded” her with Jordan Emanuel, Shanice Henderson and Bria Fleming.
“Listen, Jordan, Shanice and Bria will always have my love and respect and always be my Bunny sisters,” Cooper, 31, says on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast.
The screenwriter points out that she scored the gig at the Playboy Club after surviving a “horrible” summer of living homeless in the Big Apple.
“At the end of the day, when I signed up to be hired at Playboy, I was just coming from living out of my car with my best friend [Mariah Torres],” says Cooper, whose transient stint ultimately inspired her and Torres to develop a TV pilot titled “Rock Bottom.”

As the Atlanta-raised beauty sharpened her skills as a creative, she paid the bills by clocking in hours at Manhattan’s revived Playboy Club — which ultimately closed in November 2019 following just one year in business.
“It was always a place I could go to to have fun and lean on that sisterhood,” Cooper reflects.
“I always have fun with them, and I always remember them being there at that time in a safe place for me at that point in my life.”
Shortly after hanging up her Bunny ears, Cooper met her now-husband, Silas Cooper, who also stars in “Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard.”
The couple tied the knot just months before production began on the unscripted series that follows 12 pals reuniting in Massachusetts’ tony coastal community.
During last summer’s two-week vacation, Silas, 31, realized that the former Bunnies are more than just friends to his wife — they’re her family.
“They are forever bonded. So, even when everything was going on in the house, I told her, I’m like, ‘Babe, these are your sisters, you can talk to them,’” the Army Reserve officer says.
“It is just so dope to see all four of them still sort of bond that way and I’m glad they still have their relationship after [our] marriage.”
Silas elaborates, “Because I don’t want to be the guy to break the crew up. I still want them to have that relationship and have Jasmine feel connected even after we’re married.”
“Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard” premieres Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
