Former Vanderpump Rules star Kristen Doute was right more than we gave her credit for. She knew more than we thought, but many people judged a book by its cover and never took Kristen’s wild tales very seriously. I never had saying “should have listened to Kristen” on my 2023 Bingo card, but here we are. And how we arrived wasn’t pretty.
Let’s be clear, the fallout from Tom Sandoval’s affair with Rachel Raquel Leviss bought Pump Rules at least two more seasons, no questions asked. But Tom is no hero and Raquel is no damsel in distress. There’s been a very singular view of this entire situation and from all angles, Tom and Rachel look pretty bad.
On the bright side, the new couple is on a show filled with hypocrites and other people who have been unfaithful during relationships, so there really isn’t a better place for them to be now. Will it blow over? Yes. Will there be casualties, probably. It’s hard to film a reality program when people refuse to be in your shot.
While 99% of the population has rallied behind Ariana, a few stragglers have remained loyal to Sandoval. The Bambi-Eyed betrayer is one. Tom Schwartz is another, because he’s unable to operate unless Sandoval is pulling his strings. And the tight-knit group welcomed another member into their tiny fold. That would be VPR alum, Billie Lee.
But hang on you guys, Billie wants to play both sides of the coin because she’s so great and well-rounded. She needs people to understand Ariana isn’t the only one in pain and Sandoval deserves a hug and some tender loving care.
First of all, congrats to Billie for finally getting back in the news after four years. And second, congrats to Kristen for not letting Billie get away with any of this BS. Kristen clocked Billie after she was papped multiple times with Sandoval. In her defense, Billie did try to provide a feeble attempt at justifying the hangout. However, this is Kristen’s wheelhouse and she’s not about to let Billie off the hook. Page Six has the details.
According to Kristen, Billie was also present at Ariana’s when she was receiving visitors in the wake of Tom and Rachel’s deceit. But Billie is also consoling Tom and Kristen has a problem with it. When Instagram account @cic.loves.you posted a pap shot of Tom and Billie during a night out, Kristen commented, “As she cried at Ariana’s house days after Ari found out… smh.”
Kristen wasn’t alone. VPR fan accounts went after Billie because it seemed like she was flip-flopping. On a recent post of Ariana’s, Billie commented, “It’s your happiness shining through for me.” Meanwhile, Billie wants to be Miss Mary Sunshine spreading her happy rays all over WeHo and that’s just not how it’s done after a relationship termination of this nature. It isn’t like Ariana and Tom had a mutual discussion and parted ways amicably. I understand her motivation, but her execution is pretty off-base.
So what do we think? Is Billie just being a supportive friend or did she cross a line? Or did Billie latch onto Tom in an effort to be one of three people who will be in a room with him when cameras go back up? Inquiring minds want to know.
