I hope that you are hanging on as we weather another week in the Scandoval vortex. Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss stunned the Vanderpump Rules fandom with their secret affair. Ariana Madix, Sandoval’s longtime girlfriend, discovered the betrayal before the two-timing duo could come clean. Which we all know never would have happened.
Ariana dumped the wannabe rock star. Basically, the fallout from Raquel and Sandoval’s seven-month affair will play out this season on Pump Rules.
Meanwhile, there is a legal issue tied in with all this drama. Raquel alleged that Scheana Shay “punched” her in the face when she learned of the affair. Raquel filed for a temporary restraining order on March 7, 2023.
Scheana’s attorney, Neama Rahmani, denied Raquel’s claims. “This case is a fabrication by a known liar and a cheat who has betrayed everyone close to her. Scheana never punched Raquel, period,” Scheana’s attorney wrote in a statement. The restraining order throws a wrench into the VPR reunion since both ladies can’t be present at the same time.
I’m sure that Raquel is itching for a way out. She has no friends anymore on the cast. Although everyone is eager to find out all the details about Sandoval and Raquel’s affair, Katie Maloney has her own unfinished business with Scheana.
After Katie and her Bubba Tom Schwartz decided to get divorced, she had one tiny request. Don’t date in our friend group. Schwartz, an expert at the art of listening, hooked up with Raquel at Scheana’s wedding to Brock Davies. This happened at about the same time that Raquel was cheating with Sandoval. Barf!
Obviously, Katie blamed Scheana for pushing two consenting adults together. She accused Scheana of “meddling” in her divorce. She also called her a “troll.” Scheana claimed that Tequila Katie previously gave her “blessing” for Schwartz to hook up with Raquel.
“For her to call me a troll, it irritated me so much because it was projection at its finest. She actually sits at home and is a troll,” Scheana stated. Scheana said her friendship with Katie is done.
Reality Blurb! reported that Katie was a guest on the WWHL: After Show. And she responded to Scheana stating that she wanted an apology from Katie at the reunion.
Katie admitted saying that she would “watch [Scheana’s] world burn and smile.” But Katie is standing firm. “I’m not gonna apologize for that. I was upset. That was a response to her crazy actions that she was doing. I was hurt by it,” she remarked.
Afterward, she also weighed in on whether Scheana is a threat to anyone at the reunion. She replied, “No, have you seen those turkey talons, she cannot make a fist.” I guess that Katie and Kristen Doute both agree that Scheana didn’t assault Raquel.
Although I’m glad that the VPR ladies are supporting Ariana, I’m not surprised that Katie is holding a grudge against Scheana. Someone has to pay for Schwartz’s wandering lust.
