Who else but hosts Wendy Stuart and Tym Moss could “spill the tea” on their weekly show “If These Walls Could Talk” live from Pangea Restaurant on the Lower Eastside of NYC, with their unique style of honest, and emotional interviews, sharing the fascinating backstory of celebrities, entertainers, recording artists, writers and artists and bringing their audience along for a fantastic ride.

Concetta Tomei will be a featured guest on “If These Walls Could Talk” with hosts Wendy Stuart and Tym Moss on Wednesday, March 8th, 2023 at 2 PM ET live from the infamous Pangea Restaurant.

Wendy Stuart is an author, celebrity interviewer, model, filmmaker and along with If These Walls Could Talk she hosts TriVersity Talk, a weekly web series with featured guests discussing their lives, activism and pressing issues in the LGBTQ Community.

Tym Moss is a popular NYC singer, actor, and radio/tv host who recently starred in the hit indie film “JUNK” to critical acclaim.

Getting a later start in show business than Hollywood usually permits, you could say Concetta Tomei hit the ground running.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in education at the University of Wisconsin (Madison), Concetta taught school for four years and then went on to pursue her calling as an actor, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Goodman School of Drama at the Art Institute of Chicago.

Perhaps most recognized for her costarring television roles in CHINA BEACH (1988-1991) as Maj. Lila Garreau, Dabney Coleman’s wife Delia in MADMAN OF THE PEOPLE (1994-1995) and the chain-smoking nagging ghost mom Lynda Hansen in PROVIDENCE (1999-2002).

Concetta has also enjoyed numerous recurring roles in other shows, such as FALCON CREST, MAX HEADROOM, L.A. LAW,  PICKET FENCES, MURPHY BROWN, JUDGING AMY, RUBICON, NECESSARY ROUGHNESS, THE MICK and SPACE FORCE.

No stranger to the “stage flats”,Concetta mentored David Bowie during his first stage role, when she played Mrs. Kendal, opposite his John Merrick in THE ELEPHANT MAN., first in Denver, then Chicago.

Her well-received theatrical productions include CYRANO DE

BERGERAC, where she played Roxane’s Duenna, opposite Jennifer Garner (Roxane) and Kevin Kline (Cyrano); GOODBYE FIDEL, opposite Jane Alexander, Kathy Bates and Oscar winner Gale Sondergaard; CLOUD 9, in which she played a grown woman AND a young boy under the direction of Tommy Tune!

Other important stage roles for Concetta include playing opposite Kevin Kline once again, this time as Queen Elizabeth to his titular KING RICHARD III (Ving Rhames and David Alan Greer had roles!). For her performance in RICHARD III, Actor’s Equity presented Concetta with the prestigious Bayfield Shakespearean Award for Best Performance. She received the honor from Miss Ellen Burstyn.

Not to exclude the brilliance of  Larry Kramer’s immensely huge auto-biographical hit, THE NORMAL HEART.

Concetta played wheelchair bound Emma Brookner, the fictional character based on Dr. Linda Laubenstein, who was one of the first medical researchers to identify HIV/AIDS.

Costarring opposite Concetta in Kramer’s play was Brad Davis, most remembered for such films as MIDNIGHT EXPRESS (1978), CHARIOTS OF FIRE (1981), and A RUMOR OF WAR (1980). Miss Tomei considers him the consummate actor and a gentleman. Davis portrayed Ned Weeks, an AIDS activist who is based on the real life of the playwright Larry Kramer. During this production, and known only by the family of Davis, was the fact that Davis was suffering from HIV at the time. He fell ill during the production and was later replaced by Joel Grey.

Mr. Davis did not reveal his malady to the general public until shortly before his death in 1991. He was 41.

In Pulitzer Prize-winner Lawrence Wright’s biographical Two-Woman play FALLACI, Concetta played the titular Italian journalist Oriana Fallaci to spectacular reviews. The script was written using Fallaci’s own notes and statements. It was a grueling role for Concetta to master, as she had to memorize 74 pages of dialog! She also had to mimic Fallaci’s cadence, accent, mannerisms and be fluent in Italian.

Concetta is also an animal rights supporter, and has rescued hundreds of homeless cats from Broadway to Hollywood during her career! She is involved with the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, and worked with Linda Blair (THE EXORCIST) during the Great Greyhound Goodwill Tour to find Furever Homes for former greyhound racing dogs.
