Watch Big Thief Debut New Song “Vampire Empire” on Colbert

Their first track since Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You

Big Thief were the musical guests on last night’s episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. At the Ed Sullivan Theater, they debuted a song called “Vampire Empire,” their first since Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You. Watch it happen below.

This week’s performance followed a remotely filmed rendition of “Simulation Swarm” last year. The band have recently been touring behind Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You; they have European dates lined up in April with more North American shows coming in July and August.
